Hair PDO threads are a type of dermal needle therapy that involves inserting thread into the skin for the purpose of prolonged therapeutic stimulation. Surgical threads are sutures used to close wounds in surgery.

The threads increase anagen induction in the hair follicles and cell proliferation in the hair bulbs, which results in hair growth and thickening. Threads activate the anagen phase of the hair growth cycle.

An injection of local anesthetic is administered after the scalp has been disinfected. The needles are then inserted intradermally until the thread is passed through the needle as long as possible. We insert multiple needles and their distribution depends on the zone we are treating. After the needle insertion and positioning of the thread, the needle is withdrawn leaving the thread in situation.
