Skin tag
A skin tag is a small, harmless growth that hangs off the body and resembles a piece of tissue or a tiny piece of skin. They're usually found around the neck and armpits, but can also appear on other parts of the body. They are more common in older adults and those with a history of obesity or diabetes. Skin tags are not cancerous or contagious.
Skin tags can be removed with a sterile scalpel, scissors, cryosurgery or electrosurgery/radiofrequency.
